Brooks Cockrell

Brooks Cockrell joined Clemson Ventures in 2025 as Senior Producer, Original Content following an extended stint with the Clemson Football program. Cockrell first arrived in Tigertown in 2022 as an Assistant Director of Creative Media. 

In his role with the program, Cockrell created compelling content to assist in recruiting and with the storytelling of Clemson Football. Cockrell helped cover gamedays, team events, in-studio media shoots and more.

Cockrell began his career as the Director of Creative Media at SMU for three years. He then served at Arkansas as the Assistant Director of Video and Director of Creative Media over a four-year span.

Cockrell earned his undergraduate degree in radio and TV broadcasting from Arkansas State as well as his master’s in mass communication while gaining experience as a coaches film intern for the football team. He is currently pursuing his master’s of business administration in digital brand communication from Clemson.
