Compliance Services Launches Website

Aug. 2, 2001

Clemson, SC – On Thursday, Clemson University’s compliance services launched a comprehensive website solely dedicated for the education of prospects, prospects parents, boosters, current student-athletes and their parents.

Compliance’s website is accessible from the homepage of ClemsonTigers.com, the official website of the Clemson Athletic Department. This site will provide prospects, prospect’s parents, boosters, current student-athletes and their parents the most up-to-date information regarding rules and regulations from the NCAA, ACC and Clemson compliance services. This site will be updated throughout the year, as new information becomes available.

“Our goal is to provide information about NCAA rules to all individuals who have a vested interest in Clemson athletics. This is a great opportunity to reach out to the Clemson community and keep them informed of NCAA, ACC and Clemson rules and regulations” said Eric Baumgartner, Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance Services who is serving as project manager.

“We appreciate the work that Clemson Athletic Department Website Director Jay Madigan did in helping compliance services launch this website. This site can also help South Carolina high school administrators, parents and students get information that can be difficult to interpret. Clemson has a rich tradition of public service, and this site is another way we help South Carolinians,” said Becky Bowman, Associate Athletics Director for Compliance Services.
