Alyssa Bilodeau

Position: Director of Player Development • Third Season

Alyssa Bilodeau joined the Clemson softball staff prior to the 2022 season as a graduate assistant. Bilodeau was elevated into a full-time role as a Director of Player Development on July 10, 2023 with the Tigers after serving as the team’s graduate assistant during the 2022-23 seasons while completing her master’s in athletic leadership. As the Director of Player Development, she helps enhance student-athletes away from the playing field as she takes on a role focusing on opponent scouting, player analytics and technology and developing support for student-athlete transition by creating student-specific development and team building programs

Bilodeau came to the staff after a standout playing career at Jacksonville University where she became JU’s program all-time leader in appearances (151), strikeouts (629) and innings pitched (740.2). She also finished her career second on JU’s career list with 58 wins and third all-time in ERA (2.40). During her fifth year, Bilodeau finished with a 14-9 record and a 1.39 ERA with 178 strikeouts in 176.2 innings of work. She had 20 complete games and nine shutouts, including her first career no-hitter against Boston College where she struck out 12 batters.

The La Plata, Maryland native had a dominant career in the ASUN being named a Second Team All-ASUN selection and ASUN All-Tournament Team member in 2021. She was crowned an ASUN Pitcher of the Week (2020), an ASUN Fan-Voted Preseason Pitcher of the Year (2019) and ASUN All-Freshman Team member (2019). In 2021, she led the ASUN in strikeouts and ERA for most of the season. She also finished first in her conference in strikeouts during the 2020 shortened season.

Off the field, Bilodeau was an ASUN All-Academic Team selection. She received two degrees from Jacksonville University, graduating with a degree in psychology with a minor in kinesiology, as well as a master’s in organizational leadership.
