Clemson Rowing to participate in Head of the Hooch Regatta

Clemson, SC – The Clemson rowing team will compete in their second fall regatta this weekend with a trip to Chattanooga, TN to participate in the Head of the Hooch. The Tigers are slated to enter three different events in the regatta, with four boats in each.

On Saturday, the Tigers are entering four boats in the Women’s Championship 8 race and four boats in the Women’s Championship 4 race. On Sunday, Clemson will enter 4 boats in the Women’s Open 8 race.

The Head of the Hooch is a large regatta, with over 5,000 participants this year. Clemson’s club program will also be in attendance.

“I am incredibly proud of how hard our team has worked on the water and in the weight room this fall. Our team is making great progress every week, and the coaches and student-athletes are really looking forward to our race this weekend in Chattanooga,” said head coach Robbie Tenenbaum.

Clemson closes out their fall season on November 13 when they host the class and alumni day race in Clemson, SC.
