Clemson Track & Field Adds Home Meet to Indoor Schedule

Clemson, SC – Lawrence Johnson, Clemson’s Director of Track & Field, announced Monday that the school has added an indoor home meet to its 2009 schedule. The Clemson Games/JRF Multi-Event Challenge will be held from Friday, January 30 through Saturday, January 31. The meet will feature several high-profile track & field programs from around the Southeast region.

The addition of the Clemson Games will give Tiger track & field four home indoor meets. The season gets underway on January 9-10 with the Clemson Invitational. With the addition of the Clemson Games, the Tigers will no longer be participating in the Penn State National Invitational that same weekend. The school will host the Tiger Paw Invitational (February 13-14) and Tiger Invitational (February 21) on back-to-back weekends during indoor season as well.
