“Lance has demonstrated that he can excel in both the classroom and in the pool. His background in education and administration provides him all the tools necessary to motivate elite athletes. He reflects the type of student/athlete we feel will excel at Clemson University and the Atlantic Coast Conference. I am confident that Lance will compliment our coaching styles and add the aggressiveness of the SEC philosophy to our program. Lance’s dynamic personality makes him an easy fit to take on the responsibilities of our recruiting coordinator and sprint coach,” said Ip.
