Tigers Climb to #12 in Collegiate Baseball Poll

Thanks to a 4-0 week, including a sweep of #4 Miami (FL) over the weekend, Clemson jumped to #12 in this week’s Collegiate Baseball poll, released Monday. Clemson climbed from #24 to #12 in one week, as the #12 ranking is the highest for the Tigers in 2005. The Tigers, who are 37-19 and finished second in the ACC with a 21-9 record, are also ranked #19 by the Sports Weekly Coaches’ poll and #20 by Baseball America. It is the Tigers’ first top-25 ranking in the Baseball America poll in 2005. Clemson is also one of six ACC teams in the Baseball America listing.
