Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! What a great game on Saturday. That was possibly the best all around game we have had all year. Three players scored in double figures, Will Solomon, Adam Allenspach and Andrius Jurkunas. We shot the ball very well, as well as playing another exceptional defensive game.
The team is definitely coming together now more than ever. We are finally totally healthy and that helps in games as well as practice. It is very important that we have as many players available for practice as possible because the better the players we have for practice, the more competitive practice becomes which leads to further improvements.
We fly to Virginia this afternoon to prepare for the Cavaliers tomorrow night. Virginia played North Carolina State on Saturday night winning by six points. We need a road win badly, and no better time to get it than tomorrow night. We are again tied with Georgia Tech for eighth place in the conference, with the tie breaker going to us. If we could get a road win tomorrow night then we could be tied with Wake Forest and Florida State for sixth place.
