The 2009 Clemson baseball squad established a team record with a 3.07 GPA during the fall semester of 2008, announced Wednesday by Head Coach Jack Leggett. It broke the previous record of a 3.01 GPA set in the spring semester of 2005. A total of 24 Tigers had a 3.0 GPA or higher during the fall semester, also an all-time record.
The 24 Tigers on the fall semester honor roll were Kyle Deese, Trey Delk, Chris Dwyer, Alex Frederick, Mike Freeman, Addison Johnson, Will Lamb, Clinton McKinney, Brad Miller, Richard Mounce, John Nester, Ben Paulsen, Justin Sarratt, Graham Stoneburner, Josh Thrailkill, Matt Vaughn, Adam Ward, Scott Weismann, and Stan Widmann.
