PREVIEW

  • Clemson returns to Jervey Gym to host No. XX Stanford and California for the first time in program history after the duo joined the ACC in 2024
  • Friday and Sunday’s matches mark only the second times Clemson has met either the Cardinal or the Golden Bears on the volleyball court

MAC ATTACK

  • Closing in on a career milestone, the senior pin attacker is three points away from surpassing 1,000
  • She has accumulated the points in multiple facets including: 843 kills, 93 service aces and 95 total blocks (27 solo, 68 assisted)
  • McGrath will become the first Tiger to accumulate 1,000 career points in the Orange and Regalia since former Tiger Camryn Hannah finished with 1,056 through three years with the program. Leah Perri is the next most recent player to cross the 1,000 point milestone with each point coming at Clemson when she hit the mark in 2015 – she finished her career with 1,649.
  • A six-rotation player, Mia McGrath (Mac) picked up the 2025 season where she left off in 2024 to be crowned the Gamecock Classic MVP with 41 points, 36 kills, four blocks and three aces and followed that up by being named to the Big Orange Bash All-Tournament Team
  • She posted six double-doubles on the year, including most recently at NC State
  • Nearing the 1,000 mark in multiple categories, she also is on pace to reach become the first Tiger since Devan Taylor and Mckenna Slavik to surpass 1,000 career digs as she sits with 906 heading into the weekend
  • In 2025, she leads the team in total attacks (672), is second in aces (19) and third in both digs (182) and blocks (28)
  • Excelling on and off the field, McGrath is one of two new cohosts on Beyond the Paw, a Clemson Plus podcast dedicated to sharing the stories of athletes away from the field of play, and an On-Air Intern with the Tiger Pregame Show on Saturday’s before Clemson football games with Kennedy Wagner. She has aspirations of becoming a sports broadcaster once her playing career concludes
