CLEMSON, S.C. – Graduate Mckenna Slavik was named to the Preseason All-ACC Volleyball Team by the league’s coaches, the conference office announced on Thursday. Slavik, a native of Saint Charles, Illinois, was a Second-Team All-ACC selection at the conclusion of the 2022 season.
Slavik, a 2023 Weaver-James-Corrigan Award recipient, led the ACC last season with 10.30 assists per set after clocking 1,102 total assists. Heading into her final season in the Orange and Regalia, she is closing in on 4,000 career assists sitting with 3,863. She is fifth on Clemson’s career list and is pacing herself to be one-of-four Tigers to surpass the 4,000 milestone. She clocked over 40 assists in 17 matches and had 11 double-doubles to round out 2022.
Clemson was picked to finish 11th by the league’s coaches in the preseason poll. The full Preseason All-ACC Team is below:
