Clemson and IMG College Licensing Partner to Bring the Tiger and Trophy Tour to Fans Around the State

As the Clemson Tigers football team makes its final preparations to kick-off the season, the 2018 Tiger and Trophy Tour continues rolling across the state with a stop at Belk on Haywood Rd. in Greenville on Friday, August 30. The Tiger and Trophy Tour, which is produced by Clemson Athletics and IMG College Licensing, in collaboration with participating retailers across the State of South Carolina, features fan events that include entertainment, deals on Clemson gear to prepare fans for the season, and photo opportunities with the Tiger and 2016 College Football National Champions trophy.

Tour Details

The Tour will kick-off in Rock Hill on Tuesday, August 14 at 4:30 p.m. at the Dick’s Sporting Goods located at 548 John Ross Parkway. Dick’s Sporting Goods will provide music and specials for fans to enjoy during the event at all participating locations, with the first 100 fans with photo wristbands guaranteed a photo with the official championship trophy. Wristbands will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 9:00 a.m. the day of the event with a limit of one wristband per person. Fans with wristbands must be in the photo line by 3:45 p.m. The Tiger mascot will also be in attendance and available for pictures.

The Tommy Bahama event will also feature live music, and the Belk event will include refreshments in addition to photo opportunities with the Trophy. The Tour concludes on Friday, August 31, which is College Colors Day, an opportunity for Clemson fans to showcase their Tiger spirit by wearing Clemson gear during the day.

“Our Clemson fans are some of the most passionate and dedicated in all of college sports, and we are excited for them to come out and support our football team as we head into the season,” said Mike Money, Clemson’s Assistant Director for Marketing & Game Management. “Our Tiger and Trophy Tour lets us rally that excitement across the state while giving our fans an up-close and personal look at the success we can achieve when we all come together as one team.”
