2017 Prowl & Growl Tour Rolls On Into Week 2

2017 Prowl & Growl Tour Rolls On Into Week 2

After a succesful first stop in Charleston last week, the 2017 Prowl and Growl rolls on into week two with the Stateline and Aiken stops! The tour this year will visit eight cities with head football coach, Dabo Swinney and head basketball coach, Brad Brownell. This annual event takes place in April and May of each year in a joint effort by IPTAY, the Clemson Alumni Association and the Clemson Forever Fund and is hosted by local Clemson Clubs and IPTAY Representatives. The 2017 edition of Prowl and Growl will kick off on April 20 in Charleston, SC!

The Prowl and Growl tour enables Clemson staff and administrators to share and provide updates with the Clemson Family across the region of all the happenings going on at Clemson over the past year. At each meeting, fans have the opportunity to take photos with coaches in attendance and have their question asked live by emcee, Don Munson. During dinner, attendees will hear the latest inside news from the coaches as to what is going on inside their program as they prepare for the upcoming year.

Prowl and Growl will be a tour of Champions this year as we celebrate the 2016 Football National Championship and will make the following eight stops.  Click on the city below nearest you for individual tour stop details and ticket information.

After winning the 2016 College Football National Championship, record crowds are expected for the 2017 Prowl and Growl Tour. Therefore, the Clemson Alumni Association, Clemson Forever Fund and IPTAY have prepared a new procedure to ensure as many members of the Clemson Family can interact with Coach Swinney, Coach Brownell and other athletics representatives.

We know that Prowl and Growl has historically offered an opportunity for a personal interaction with coaches in attendance and we feel that is still very important. We will continue to allow attendees to have a professional picture taken with the coaches in attendance as we did during the 2016 tour, and no personal pictures or autographs will be allowed.

Those who wish to have their picture taken will be able to download the picture for free after the event. Each family will be limited to one picture with both coaches. Please note that each photography session will last as long as time permits, which may not allow for all in attendance to receive a picture.

This adjustment was made in anticipation of the large demand to have items signed by Coach Swinney; and knowing that due to time constraints of the evening, not everyone would be able get an autograph. Since in-person autographs will not be permitted, each person who attends the 2017 tour will receive a pre-autographed picture of Coach Swinney and Coach Brownell. Be sure to pick yours up at the meeting you attend.

Don’t miss out on Prowl and Growl this year!
