Only Clemson University students paying full time fees (including full University fee) are eligible to participate in this program. Total tickets available to students are limited based on stadium capacity (11,000 for home football games). Students paying for less than twelve semester hours and those that drop below twelve hours are not eligible for a student ticket. They may purchase tickets at the Athletic Ticket Office if available. Policies concerning control and issue of student tickets, schedules of times and places of ticket issue, and procedures for admittance to events are outlined below.
POLICIES AND PROCEDURES: A student’s Tiger 1 card will verify payment of fees and eligibility for student tickets. Each student must present their Tiger 1 card and a student ticket for admittance to ticketed events.
FOOTBALL TICKETS: Football tickets will be issued (by class) for home football games at Gate 11. (West End of Memorial Stadium – see schedule below) Each student must present his/her valid Tiger 1 card prior to issuance of a ticket. Students sick or absent from campus due to official business on the date of issue may pick up their tickets on a subsequent scheduled issue date if available.
NOTE: Students who fail to pick up their ticket before 4:30 p.m. Thursday may be issued a ticket at the Athletic Ticket Office on Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or at Gate 1 of the stadium on game day if available. If tickets are available on game day, students must pick them up by the end of the first quarter. The student ticket window will open 1 1/2 hours prior to game time and will close at the end of the first quarter.
DATE TICKETS: A season date ticket, which allows a student to pick up one date ticket for all seven home games, will be sold at the Athletic Ticket Office for $240.00 on an as available basis, beginning August 18, 2008. No season date tickets will be sold after August 29, 2008. Individual game date tickets will be sold for home football games during regular distribution, on an as available basis. The prices of the home tickets are $35.00 each for The Citadel and S.C. State. N.C. State, Maryland, Georgia Tech, and Duke are $48.00 each. At this time the ticket office does not anticipate having individual game date tickets available to sell for the South Carolina game. (Students that purchase a season date ticket will receive a date ticket for all home games.) Each student may obtain only one “non-student” ticket per Tiger 1 card, be it a season date ticket, individual date ticket, or a trade-in ticket. The Athletic Ticket Office reserves the right to limit the sale of individual game tickets.
