At the plate, he was 6-for-12 (.500) with one homer, one double, five RBIs, three runs, three walks, a .600 on-base percentage, and one steal in four games (three starts). In his one game he did not make a plate appearance, the Seaford, VA native pitched a career-high 7.0 strong innings to earn the win against his homestate team at #1 Virginia in the first game of a doubleheader on Saturday. He allowed just five hits (all singles), one earned run, and two walks with two strikeouts in Clemson’s 8-5 victory against a team that entered the series with a .354 batting average. On the season, he is hitting .375 with two homers, four doubles, 11 RBIs, seven walks, and three steals in only 32 at-bats.
