Track & Field Program Adds Last Chance Qualifying Meet to Indoor Schedule

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson track & field program has been approved for a “last chance” qualifying meet at the school’s indoor facility. The Clemson Final Qualifier will be held Thursday, March 3. It will be the final weekend of the indoor season prior to the NCAA Championships, which are set for March 11-12 in College Station, TX. The addition of the qualifier gives the Tiger track & field program a total of seven home indoor meets this season.

“We’re extremely pleased to be approved to host our first-ever last chance qualifying meet,” said Lawrence Johnson, Clemson’s Director of Track & Field. “Not only will it give us another opportunity to showcase our fantastic indoor facility, but it will also provide some of our student-athletes an opportunity to improve their chances of qualifying for the NCAA Championships.”
