Boca Raton, Fla. – Clemson women’s golf opened its spring season on Monday at the CIEE Florida Atlantic Paradise Invitational, carding a first-round 300 (+12) to sit tied for sixth after 18 holes at Osprey Point Golf Course.
Clemson is tied with Indiana and Notre Dame on the team leaderboard, trailing tournament leader Kentucky (E) heading into Tuesday’s second round.
Junior Juliette Demeaux paced the Tigers in the opening round with a 73 (+1), placing her tied for 10th individually. Demeaux recorded three birdies on the day and finished the round strong on the back nine.
Keya Naik followed with a 74 (+2) to sit tied for 18th, while Sarah Uebelhart posted a 76 (+4). Isabella Rawl added a 77 (+5), and Sydney Roberts rounded out the lineup with an 80 (+8).
Competing as an individual, Ivy Schulze opened with a 75 (+3), placing her inside the top 30 on the individual leaderboard.
Kentucky holds the team lead at even par, with Tennessee (+1) and Georgia (+5) rounding out the top three. Host Florida Atlantic sits fourth at +7.
