Clemson, S.C. – Clemson women’s golf returns to competition this weekend at the 54th annual Gators Invitational, hosted by the University of Florida at Mark Bostick Golf Course.
The historic event, which began in 1973, has long been one of the premier early-spring tournaments in collegiate golf. Clemson enters the weekend looking to rebound after a tie for 11th finish at the Spartan Suncoast Invitational and build momentum heading into the heart of the spring schedule.
ON THE SCORECARDClemson enters the weekend ranked No. 43 nationally with a 288.1 adjusted scoring average across 19 rounds this season. The Tigers hold a 66-26-2 overall record in stroke play, collecting two team victories and three top-three finishes through seven events.
Clemson has finished inside the top five in five of seven tournaments this season and now faces one of its strongest challenges of the spring. Four teams in the field are ranked inside the top 25 nationally, including No. 7 Florida, No. 13 North Carolina and No. 25 Oklahoma.

Florida has historically dominated the event, capturing 27 all-time team titles.
ABOUT THE EVENTThe tournament will be contested over 54 holes, with 18 holes played each day. Friday and Saturday will feature traditional tee times, while Sunday’s final round will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Clemson will be paired with Virginia and Michigan for Friday’s opening round, with tee times beginning at 8:50 a.m. ET.
