Tigers Ranked #23 in Baseball America Preseason Poll

Clemson is ranked #23 in Baseball America’s 2008 preseason poll, released on Tuesday. Earlier in January, Clemson was listed #13 in Collegiate Baseball’s preseason poll. The Tigers were 41-23 and made their 21st consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in 2007, the third-longest streak in NCAA history.

UCLA is atop the Baseball America poll. Other ACC teams ranked include #5 North Carolina, #10 Miami (FL), and #17 Virginia. The Tigers will open their 2008 schedule on February 22 against Mercer at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
