ATLANTA – The Clemson volleyball team won all three of its matches – in a three-set format – at Georgia Tech on Saturday, defeating Furman, Chattanooga and Georgia Tech in O’Keefe Gymnasium. Clemson swept both the Paladins and Mocs, and downed the Yellow Jackets, 2-1.
“Today was a great day for our team,” said Clemson Volleyball head coach Michaela Franklin. “We took time this week to reflect on how we can take the next step as a team, and the answer we came up with is responding in pressure situations.”
“I really like how our team competed with competitive maturity and composure, but what was most impressive was our execution in those tight scenarios. It was a great team effort today and huge growth step for our players and our program.”
Up next, the Tigers wrap up their spring competition schedule in Spartanburg, South Carolina, where they are slated to face South Carolina on Saturday, April 13.
