Clemson, S.C. – The Tigers picked up their fourth straight victory as Clemson women’s basketball (9-4, 1-1 ACC) defeated the North Florida Ospreys (5-6, ASUN), 84-62 at Littlejohn Coliseum on Sunday afternoon. The four-game streak marks the longest in the Poppie era and the Tigers’ first four-game win streak since 2022-23.
For the third straight game, nine different Tigers scored in the contest. Four Tigers finished in double-digit points for the third straight matchup. Led by Rusne Augustinaite (19 points) and Mia Moore (18 points). The Tigers shot 54.1% from the field for the third time in the last four games (fifth time this season). Clemson has shot over 50% as a team. Demeara Hinds and Taylor Johnson-Matthews each added 13 points apiece. Four Tigers grabbed at least five boards on the way to a season-high 49 team rebounds.
The Ospreys saw 11 different players register a point, led by junior Alonya Waldon with 11.
HOW THE GAME WAS DECIDED
North Florida scored the opening basket, but after an Augustinaite three-pointer with 8:10 in the first quarter, the Tigers would never trail again en route to their seventh twenty-plus point victory of the season.
