ACC INDOOR TRACK & FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS RESULTS
CLEMSON, S.C. – Clemson Track & Field concluded day two of the ACC Indoor Championships with 11 athletes qualifying for various finals.
In the men’s 60m prelims, Andre Hodge (fourth place, 6.71 seconds), Ian Johnson (fifth place, 6.72 seconds), Cameron Bobcombe (sixth place, 6.73 seconds) and Kevin Collins (eighth place, 6.75 seconds) all qualified to race on Saturday. The women’s 60m prelims also saw Aniyah Kitt (fourth place, 7.32 seconds) and Makhaila Mills (seventh place, 7.35 seconds) also qualify.
Sharvis Simmonds not only qualified in the men’s 60m hurdles prelims but his fourth-place time of 7.69 seconds is also tied for fifth on Clemson’s top 10 list. In the women’s 60m hurdles, Oneka Wilson won with a qualifying time of 8.10 seconds.
Grant Holliday had the second-fastest 400m time of 45.94 to move on. In the women’s 800m, Gladys Chepngetich placed first with a time of 2:03.83. Nancy Cherop qualified for the mile final after placing fifth with a time of 4:36.16.
In the women’s long jump, Aiya Webb (fourth, 6.13m / 20’ – 01.50”) and Shantae Foreman (sixth place, 6.10m / 20’ – 00.25”) earned All ACC Second Team.
