Fifty-two Clemson student-athletes traveled to the Atlanta area on Saturday, November 22 to take part in the Sam Robb Run to benefit CURE Childhood Cancer. The athletes were honoring their friend, Liz Robb, a Tiger rower who lost her 19-year-old brother Sam to cancer last year. The run was organized by the family with the help of teammates, friends and local community members.
Following the event, 15 athletes stayed and visited the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta: Scottish Rite. They toured the inpatient facility and visited with children. Of course, they took along lots of Clemson goodies to hand out.
