• Played all 18 games
• Totaled five goals, one assist, 14 ground balls, four draw controls and four caused turnovers
• Scored a season high of two goals against Campbell
• Earned ACC All-Academic Team Honors

Before Clemson:

Hailing from Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., Emma Johnson provides a burst of offense from the midfield position. In her senior season at Davidson she played in all 18 games, scoring 19 goals and notching eight assists. Following the season, she was tabbed to the All-A10 second team.

Notable Collegiate Honors / Stats:

2021

• Appeared in all 15 games for the ‘Cats
• Scored 10 goals and dished five assists
• Had three multi-goal games and had a season-high two assists at Richmond on 4/23
• Scored a hat trick against George Washington on 3/28
• Won 10 draw controls
• Grabbed 15 ground balls and caused eight turnovers. 
  

2020

• Season cut short due to COVID-19
• Appeared in five matches, making one start
• Recorded two goals against Furman on 2/22, marking the first multi-goal game of her career
• Picked up a total of three ground balls, one caused turnover and one draw control during the season.

2019

• Played in 13 of Davidson’s 17 games as a freshman
• Scored two goals and earned one assist for three points
• Finished with two groundballs, two draw controls and three caused turnovers
• In third collegiate game at Gardner-Webb, tallied a goal and assist for two points to go with two draw controls in win
• In first career game, forced two turnovers during a 12-4 season-opening win at home vs. Winthrop
• Added second goal of the season at Duke
• Took six shots and put five of them on goal.

Why did you choose Clemson?:

I chose Clemson because of the incredible opportunity to start and lead a program. Being a part of an inaugural ACC team is a once in a lifetime opportunity and I look forward to helping cultivate an incredible culture and kick off this program. I am looking forward to playing lacrosse with incredible athletes and pursuing an MBA which will allow me to achieve my goal of owning my own women’s health private practice someday.

Steph Curry was in my graduating class. I don’t like chocolate. I have two french bulldogs.
