• Played mostly with freshman Alex Favrot at number-one doubles

In 2014-5 (Junior)

Singles:

• Finished the season with a 17-14 overall record
• 14-11 in dual matches, 6-6 in the ACC
• Primarily started for the Tigers at the 3^rd, 4^th and 5th positions, saw playing time at all six positions
• Was 1-0 at number-two singles, 3-3 at number-three singles and 4-2 at number-five singles
• Had one ranked win over #85 ranked Austin Powell of NC State

Doubles:

• Finished the season with a 12-14 overall record
• Spent time primarily at number-one and number-two singles, 4-7 in the ACC
• Defeated nationally ranked opponent #15 Virginia Tech with Hunter Harington

In 2013-14 (Sophomore)

Singles:

• Finished the season with an 18-11 overall record
• 16-8 in dual matches, 5-5 in the ACC
• Primarily started for the Tigers at the 5^th position
• Was 3-0 at number-three singles, 5-1 at number-four singles and 8-7 at number-five singles
• Had a 2-3 mark in three-set matches, 3-1 in tie-breakers
• Had one ranked win over #76 ranked Jordan Daigle

Doubles:

• Finished the season with a 23-8 overall record
• 21-6 in dual matches, 6-3 in the ACC
• Played mostly with Austin Ansari at number-three doubles
• The duo of Johnson and Ansari was 19-6 overall and 6-3 in conference

• ATP singles ranking career high: #1607 in July 2013
• Transfer from the University of Florida
• The Gators were 15-11 overall and ranked 16th in the final ITA poll

• Finished his freshman season with an 11-12 record overall and an 8-4 mark in dual matches

• Had a 9-6 mark in doubles matches

Before College:

• Rated No. 77 in the AEGON British Tennis Rankings Open Division, with a UK rating of 3.1
• Johnson was ranked in the top-five in the United Kingdom for all males born in 1994
• In 2011, he was the British Colleges U19 Singles Champion, and was the runner-up at the same event in the spring on 2012
• At the 2011 AEGON U18 Nationals, he was a singles semifinalist while also reaching the finals in the doubles competition
• He was part of the doubles pair that claimed the title at the 2011 ITF Ediburgh event and was a singles semifinalist at the 2011 ITF Newcastle event
• Represented Yorkshire, playing in age groups ranging from U9 to U18, and compiled an impressive 31-1 singles record, earning the title of captain of the Yorkshire U18 County Cup team
• Also represented Yorkshire on the Men’s Senior County Cup team
• In 2010, Johnson represented England at No. 1 in the 18 & Under division at the 4 Nations Event
