Overview:  Transfer from Erskine, who was two-time All-American at Division II level in three years with the Flying Fleet…earned Academic All-ACC honors in 2022-23, his first year with the Clemson program…2023-24 will be his fifth year of college golf…first-team All-American as a sophomore in 2020-21 and third-team as junior in 2021-22…played in 28 tournaments and 77 rounds in three years for Erskine…a model of consistency, he had a 71.83 career stroke average for those 28 tournaments…had 71.84 stroke average as a freshman in 2019-20, 71.77 as a sophomore in 2020-21 and 71.88 as a junior in 2021-22…had 22 career rounds in the 60s, 34 under-par rounds and 44 rounds at par or better….posted 18 top 10 tournament finishes, including five victories…had exactly six top 10s in each of his three seasons at Erskine…had  68 rounds at 75 or better among his 77 career rounds…had career best 65 in second round of Camden Collegiate on October 4, 2021…among his 18 top 10 finishes were 16 top fives…won conference and NCAA Regional championship as a sophomore in consecutive tournaments in spring of 2021…won three tournaments as a freshman in 2019-20 academic year, including Donald Ross Intercollegiate when he won in a field of 96 golfers…first native of Spain on a Clemson men’s golf roster….Ping All-Southeast region selection by Golf Coaches Association each of the last two years at Erskine….has never had a hole-in-one, but has had two double eagles, both in 2020 in practice rounds.

In 2022-23:  Played in six tournaments, four in the Clemson lineup in his first year with the program…had 73.94 stroke average for his 18 rounds…had two rounds in the 60s, three under-par rounds and four rounds at par or better…had 14 rounds at 75 or better among his 18 rounds…had season high 12 birdies in his first career tournament…had 73.67 stroke average in opening round, 72.17 in final round…had 3.22 stroke average on par three holes, 4.35 n par fours and 4.89 on par fives…had 49 birdies..had Clemson’s best round twice…his score counted in 7 of 12 team rounds…played the first tournament as an individual and finished 15th, his best tournament of the year…that performance included a final round 67, an 11-stroke improvement from his second round…played in the Golf Club of Georgia  and Ka’anapali in the fall, then Wake Forest, Linger Longer and ACC Tournament in the spring…finished 36th at Pinehurst in Wake Forest event, he was 44th at ACC Tournament where he had consistent rounds of 75-75-74

2021-22 at Erskine:  Posted a 71.88 stroke average as a junior in 11 tournaments and 32 rounds…had career best 10 rounds in the 60s, he shot 75 or better in 28 of the 32 rounds…had 14 under-par rounds and 17 at par or better…had career best 65 in second round of Camden Collegiate and season best 207 score for 54 holes at the Kiawah Island Invitational to start the season….in fall of 2021, had five top five finishes and 13 of his 14 rounds were at 72 or better…finished second at the King Invitational and the Donald Ross Intercollegiate, he was third at the Kiawah Island Invitational and the Southern Tide…finished fourth at Camden Collegiate…in the spring, finished ninth at the Tennessee River Rumble, 15th at the Carolinas Conference Championship and 35th at the NCAA Southeast Regional…had at least one round in the 60s in seven of his 11 tournaments…earned third-team All-America honors from the Golf Coaches Association, he was all-regional and all-conference…finished fifth at Spanish Amateur….had rounds of 73-71 at the British Amateur, but did not make match play.

2020-21 at Erskine:   First-team DII All-America selection according to the Golf Coaches Association…had career best 71.77 stroke average for nine tournaments as a sophomore when he had six top 10s…had nine rounds in the 60s and 11 under-par rounds for the year….had 15 rounds at par or better…had season best 67 on multiple occasions…had career best 204 score for 54 holes at conference championship when he won medalist honors…had rounds of 69-68-67 in gaining the victory…followed that with medalist honors at NCAA Southeast Regional with 209 score, seven under par…had rounds of 70-67-72….finished the season with 22nd-place finish at NCAA National Championship…had six top three finishes for the season in nine tournaments…all-region and all-conference selection…started the year with consecutive third-place finishes at the NCCAA South Regional and NCCAA National tournaments…also third that year at Bearcat Classic and Hargett Memorial…led Erskine to the team championship at Hargett Memorial…had at least one round in the 60s in six of the nine tournaments..at one point in the year had four straight rounds in the 60s and seven straight rounds at par or better.

2019-20 at Erskine:   Had team best 71.84 stroke average for 19 rounds… had three rounds in the 60s among his nine under-par rounds…had 12 rounds at par or better…posted six top 10 finishes…had season best 67 in second round of the Donald Ross Intercollegiate…had season best 205 at that tournament when he had rounds of 70-67-68 in gaining medalist honors against a 96-player field…that was his second consecutive win, as he had also won the NCCAA South Region in the previous tournament….won three tournaments overall his freshman year as he was co-medalist at the Southern Tide in March…then finished 10th at the Hargett Memorial on March 10 before the season was cut short by COVID19…one must wonder what he could have accomplished that year as he had five consecutive top 10s, including three wins over his last five tournaments that year before the COVID119 halt to the season…also had a fifth-place in 53-player field at the Anderson University tournament to start the season.
