2021: ACC Academic Honor Roll member … did not appear in a game.

2020: Received a redshirt from the NCAA with the season’s suspension on March 12 and cancellation due to a coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic … missed the season due to injury.

2019: Redshirted … No. 125 freshman in the ACC in the preseason by Perfect Game … played for Forest City in the Coastal Plain League in the summer, where he hit .275 with two doubles, five homers, 29 RBIs, 13 runs, a .402 on-base percentage and four steals in 31 games; Coastal Plain League All-Star Game selection.

Before Clemson: North-South All-Star Game selection … first-team all-state as a senior … member of three region championship teams and two Upperstate championship teams … lettered four times in baseball at J.L. Mann High School, where he was coached by Brian Simpson.

Personal: Majoring in health science … born Matthew Todd Lumsden on Feb. 24, 2000 in Goffstown, N.H.
