RALEIGH, NC — N.C. State defeated Clemson 6-1 in a men’s Atlantic Coast Conference tennis match at Raleigh, NC Sunday afternoon.
NC State improved to 12-8 overall and 4-2 in the ACC. Clemson falls to 13-14 overall and 1-6 in league play.
Clemson’s Derek DiFazio defeated David Chermak at number-six singles 1-6, 6-2, 7-6 for the Tigers only victory in singles play.
The Tigers will play host to Maryland and Charleston Southern on Saturday at the Hoke Sloan Tennis Center. The Tigers will play host to Boston College and Coker at Clemson on Sunday.
