Mesarovic Reaches Quarterfinals at ITF M25 Montreal

CLEMSON, S.C. – At the ITF M25 Montreal tournament, Clemson’s Marko Mesarovic won four straight matches to reach the quarterfinals round on Friday, Nov. 7. On his way to the quarterfinals, Mesarovic defeated Boitan (ATP #334), marking the highest-ranked victory of his career.

Yannic Nittmann and Manuel Plunger also competed in the tournament, with Plunger winning a match in the qualifying draw.

• Mesarovic defeated Benchetrit 6-1 6-1.
• Nittmann lost to Flores 7-5 6-1.

• Mesarovic defeated Cohen 7-6(5) 6-1.
• Plunger lost to Flores 6-3 2-6 10-7.

Wednesday, Nov. 5 | Main Draw Singles – First Round

• Mesarovic defeated Boitan 6-2 6-3.

Thursday, Nov. 6 | Main Draw Singles – Second Round

• Mesarovic defeated Ayeni 3-6 4-0 (retired).

Friday, Nov. 7 | Main Draw Singles – Quarterfinals

• Mesarovic lost to Baadi 7-5 6-2.
