Lady Tigers To Play Host To Kennesaw State On Sunday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s basketball team will welcome Kennesaw State to Littlejohn Coliseum for a Sunday afternoon contest. The game is slated to begin at 3:00 pm. Fans in the upstate will be able to follow the action with Dan Scott and Kanetra Queen on WCCP (104.9-FM), while the game will also be available on livestats via www.clemsontigers.com.

Tasha Taylor raised her season scoring average to a 13.0 figure with a 17-point performance against James Madison on Wednesday night. The junior from Columbus, GA is also averaging 3.8 rebounds per game and ranks second on the team with 29 assists. D’Lesha Lloyd and Lele Hardy are averaging in double figures as well for the Clemson squad, while Hardy owns a team-best 7.8 rebounds per game average.

Scouting the Lady Owls Kennesaw State will bring a 3-4 ledger to Littlejohn Coliseum on Sunday afternoon. The Lady Owls have posted victories over Morgan State, Winthrop and Mercer, while two of their four losses came in overtime games.

Rosetta Hollis leads the squad with a 12.8 scoring average. She also ranks second on the team with a 7.5 rebounds per game figure. Ngoneh Gaye owns a team-best 10.9 rebounding average, while Ashley Johnson has handed out a team-high 26 assists.
