CLEMSON, SC – New Lady Tiger Head Coach Itoro Coleman took little time in getting out on the recruiting circuit, as her early signing class was ranked #33 nationally by ESPN Hoop Gurlz. The class is highlighted by Natiece Ford, a four-star prospect from Holly Springs, NC, who is ranked #47 overall in the class by the same service.

In addition to Ford, the Tigers signed three-star prospects Nikki Dixon (Milton, GA) and Chelsea Lindsay (Durham, NC), as well as a prospect whom the staff feels is a sleeper in Kelly Gramlich (Austin, TX).

The ACC proved to be among the most competitive of all conferences on the trail in the early signing period. Among ACC classes, the Tigers ranked sixth, as Duke (4), Virginia (13), UNC (18), Georgia Tech (24), and NC State (30) came in ahead of Clemson.

ESPN HoopGurlz ranks recruiting classes based solely on high school prospect signings. No consideration is made for junior college or transfer student-athletes. Player rankings and class rankings are determined by a six-person panel that includes Lisa Bodine, Chris Hansen, Mark Lewis, Glenn Nelson, Kelvin Powell, and Kara Howe.
