Clemson Looks to Continue Strong Start to Season Against Charleston Southern
CLEMSON, S.C. â The Clemson Tigers womenâs basketball team is ready to continue its 2023-24 campaign by hosting the Charleston Southern Buccaneers in Littlejohn Coliseum. The game will tip off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10 and can be seen on ACCNX.
The Tigers won 19 games last season and advanced to the third round of the WNIT. Clemson return all-conference forward Amari Robinson and 2023 ACC All-Freshman selection Ruby Whitehorn and added loads of experience and talent from the transfer portal.
In addition to the talent on this yearâs squad, the Tigers have signed two new players to their history-making signing class this Wednesday. Clemson signed five-star guard Imari Berry, the number 13 player in the country per ESPN, as well as Morgan Miller, a 6-2 forward from Minnesota who averaged over 12 points per game in her junior season.
CU is led by Amanda Butler who is in her sixth season at the helm of the Tiger program. She recorded her 300th win as a head coach in Mondayâs 71-41 victory against Winthrop.
Clemson owns a 15-1 record against Charleston Southern.
