Position: Director of Player Personnel/Assistant Coach
Jayda Worthy joins the Clemson family prior to the 2024-25 season as the Director of Player Personnel/Assistant Coach.
Worthy, a Toledo, Ohio native, spent the previous two years on head coach Shawn Poppie’s staff at Chattanooga where the Mocs won back-to-back Southern Conference championships and earned two berths to the NCAA Tournament.
During her time in Chattanooga, Worthy helped coach and recruit post players, as well as fulfilling scouting assignments. Raven Thompson was named SoCon Freshman of the Year and SoCon Tournament MVP under Worthy’s coaching.
Prior to her two years with the Mocs, Worthy was an assistant coach at her alma mater, Radford, from 2020-2022. At Radford, she helped coach post players and assisted in scouting and recruiting.
During her playing days at Radford, Worthy was a two-time all-conference selection, she was named the 2017-18 Big South Defensive Player of the Year, and was selected to the 2010-19 Big South All-Decade Team.
