Clemson Women?s Soccer Names Team Captains

CLEMSON, S.C. – Four senior veterans on the Clemson women’s soccer team were named co-captains, as announced by Head Coach Eddie Radwanski on Thursday evening. Emily Byorth, Gabby Byorth, Abby Jones and Claire Wagner were voted by their teammates to serve as captains for the 2016 season.

The Byorth twins, Jones, Wagner and their teammates open the regular season tonight, Friday, Aug. 19, on the road at Auburn at 7 p.m. CT (8 p.m. CT). Clemson is ranked as high as 10^th in the preseason national polls, while Auburn is ranked as high as 12^th.
