The win marks Clemson’s fifth in the all-time series with Notre Dame and just its second victory on the road in South Bend.
The Tigers (14-3, 4-0 ACC) were fueled by Porter’s performance, but RJ Godfrey (Suwanee, Ga./North Gwinnett/Georgia) and Carter Welling (Draper, Utah/Corner Canyon/Utah Valley) combined for 30 points with 16 and 14, respectively.
Three Tigers finished with at least six rebounds, including Dillon Hunter (Atlanta, Ga./Westlake) who tied a career-high with seven to lead Clemson.
