Recently, the Clemson volleyball team spent the afternoon making a difference in the community, traveling to the Helping Hands Center, a shelter for neglected and abused children,to spend time with the children. Several team members played kickball, red light green light, Simon Says and many more games with the children. The rest of the Tigers got an extra work out in for the day as they climbed up and down the jungle gym and played on the swings with the children.
The day ended on an especially sweet note as the student-athletes served ice cream sundaes to the children. The chocolate-covered smiles on the faces of the children indicated that everyone enjoyed the day.
