Clemson Tops Furman, 76-58

Greenville, S.C., Nov. 23, 2025 – Graduate forward Demeara Hinds scored 14 of her season-high 16 points in the fourth quarter in Clemson women’s basketball’s (4-2, 0-1 ACC) 76-58 win against Furman (2-5, SoCon) in Timmons Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Mia Moore (3rd double-double of the season) added 13 points and a career-best 11 assists. Rachel Rose (11 points) and Rusne Augustinaite (10 points) rounded out the four Tigers who finished the day in double-figure points. Hannah Kohn logged a career-best four steals and as grabbed three or more steals in back-to-back performances.

Furman was led by a 16-point performance by Lauren Bailey and 13 points from Chantelle Stuart.

HOW THE GAME WAS DECIDED

Clemson used a 17-4 scoring spurt in the third quarter to gain a 10-point advantage, 49-39, with one minute left. Moore led the Tigers with six points on a pair of layups and free throws within the stretch. Clemson stretched its lead to as high as 19 points in the fourth quarter en route to victory.

GAME OF RUNS

The Tigers used a 13-2 run to end the first quarter, outscoring the Paladins, 20-11, in the first frame. Four Tigers scored in the scoring stretch, which started and ended with triples from Augustinaite and Harris. In the following quarter, Furman outscored the Tigers, 22-11, causing Clemson to enter the break with a two-point deficit, 33-31.
