A Clemson victory on Wednesday would give the Tigers 20 wins for the fourth straight year, a first in school history. It would also give the senior class a record 92 victories overall, 34 in the ACC.

Trevor Booker went over the 1000 mark in career rebounds in the first half of the win over Virginia. He now has 1004. He joined Tree Rollins and Dale Davis as the only Clemson basketball players with at least 1000 career rebounds.

Booker is now one of just 5 active Division I players with at least 1500 points and 1000 rebounds. He is joined by Luke Harangody of Notre Dame, Damion James of Texas, Jonathan Rodriquez of Campbell and Omar Samhan of St. Mary’s.

Booker needs just three assists to become Clemson’s career leader in assists by a frontcourt player. He has 204 and the record is 206 by Horace Grant (1983-87). He will start his 129th straight game for Clemson on Wednesday.

Clemson has made 66 of 82 from the foul line (.805) over its three-game winning streak. That includes 25-31 from the line inside the last five minutes (.806).

Clemson has made more free throws than the opponent has attempted in each of the last three games. Clemson is 9-0 this season when that happens.

Andre Young has scored 41 points, had 10 assists and six steals off the bench in the last three Clemson games. He has made 9 of his last 18 three-point shots.

Since 1985 when the NCAA Tournament went to 64 teams, ACC teams that finished two games over .500 have reached the NCAA Tournament 88 % of the time. Teams finishing .500 have reached the tournament 77.3 % of the time and teams that have finished two games under .500 have reached the NCAA Tournament 38.2 percent of the time.

Clemson was called for just six fouls in the win over Virginia, the fewest by a Clemson team in any game in 23 years.

Clemson faces a pair of road games against RPI top 40 teams this week, at Maryland on Wednesday and at Florid State on Sunday. But, the Tigers are playing the two teams Oliver Purnell has defeated the most since he has been at Clemson. He is 8-6 against Florida State and 7-4 against Maryland in his seven years at Clemson.
