COLLEGE PARK, MD-The Clemson women’s basketball team will try to extend their nine game winning streak as the Lady Tigers play Maryland at College Park, MD Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m.
Clemson is now 10-2 overall and 1-0 in the ACC. Maryland is 9-3 overall, and 0-1 in league play. Clemson is ranked 18th in the latest Associated Press poll.
The Lady Tigers are led in scoring by Chrissy Floyd with a 17.1 ppg. average. Erin Batth leads the team in rebounding with a 8.4 rpg. mark.
Maryland is led in scoring by Marche Strickland with a 14.5 ppg. average. Deedee Warley leads the Terrapins in rebounding with a 7.1 rpg. mark.
This will be the 46th meeting between the two teams on the basketball court. Maryland leads the overall series 25-20. Clemson has won six of the last seven games in the series.
