CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson men’s tennis program is set to compete in Tulsa, Okla. over the next week in the ITA All-American Championships. The tournament is set to start tomorrow, Saturday, Sept. 20 and run through Sunday, Sept. 28. Pre-qualifying rounds will be played this Saturday and Sunday, qualifying rounds will be played on Monday and Tuesday and the main draw will take place from Wednesday through the following Sunday.

Tiger representatives include Noa Vukadin, Viktor Markov, Henrik Bladelius, Edoardo Chérié Lignière, Romain Gales, Marko Mesarovic and Manuel Plunger.

Main Draw

  • Vukadin: Main draw (Wednesday, Sept. 24)

Prequalifying

  • Gales vs. Nagy (Oral Roberts) Saturday, Sept. 20 at 9 a.m.
  • Mesarovic vs. Kim (UVA) Saturday, Sept. 20 at 10 a.m.

Racket Fire Facts

  • Last week, Chérié Lignière, Nittmann, Bladelius and Plunger all competed at the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic where Bladelius and Plunger won the entire tournament.
    • Bladelius also took home Blue Gray Tournament MVP honors.
    • Collectively, all four Tigers had winning records in both singles and doubles. In total, everyone combined for a record of 15-4 (10-2 in singles and 5-2 in doubles).
  • Gales played in the M15 ITF Future on Monday, where he advanced to the second round of the qualifying draw after a 6-4 6-3 win.
    • During the 2024-25 season, Gales was a part of a doubles team that was ranked as high as 31 in the ITA rankings.
    • Gales posted a 20-11 record in both singles and doubles last season.
  • Markov, Mesarovic and Vukadin are all making their fall debuts this weekend.
  • Last year, Markov finished with a singles record of 21-9 and a doubles record of 22-11. He also was named ACC Freshman of the Week (3/18/2025).
  • Mesarovic posted a 22-15 singles record, and 8-4 doubles record during his sophomore campaign last season. He was a two-time ACC Doubles Team of the Week winner on Jan. 1 and Feb. 20, 2024.
  • Vukadin has a fairly decorated career receiving both All-ACC Doubles Second Team and All-ACC Singles Third Team last year.
    • He went into 2024 as a member of the No. 5 doubles team (the highest preseason ranking in program history).
    • Vukadin was on the No. 4 doubles team in the ITA Carolina Regional Rankings (2024).
    • He was named on an ACC Doubles Team of the Week (3/18/2025).
    • His highest ITA doubles (No. 22) and singles (No. 46) rankings came this past spring.
    • Vukadin helped Clemson advance to the quarterfinals of the ACC Championships and helped the Tigers advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2025.
