Clemson Finishes Fifth at Cougar Classic

Charleston, S.C. – Clemson women’s golf secured a top-five finish at the Cougar Classic, placing fifth at 3-under-par for the tournament. The Tigers concluded play Tuesday with a final-round 296 (+12) at Yeamans Hall Club in Charleston, S.C., in the two-day, 54-hole event.

Sarah Uebelhart led the Tigers with a tie for seventh after posting rounds of 70-66-73 for a 4-under total. Sydney Roberts finished tied for 25th at even par following a final-round 72, while Juliette Demeaux tied for 28th at 1-over after closing with a 75. Keya Naik (T-52, +6) and Isabella Rawl (T-71, +10) rounded out the lineup.

Ivy Schulze, competing as an individual, also finished tied for 25th at even par with rounds of 70-70-73.

Ole Miss (-18) won the event, followed by Tennessee (-16), Florida (-9) and UCF (-5). NC State’s Marie Madsen captured medalist honors at 15-under after a final-round 62 (-9), the lowest round of the tournament by three shots.

Clemson’s finish marked its second straight top-five showing to open the fall season. It is the second time in the last six years the Tigers have done so, also achieving the feat in 2023-24.

The Tigers return to competition Sept. 19-21 at the Mason Rudolph Championship in Franklin, Tennessee.
