Clemson, S.C., Nov. 16, 2025 – Clemson women’s basketball (3-2, 0-1 ACC) fell to No. 22/21 Louisville (3-1, 1-0 ACC), 65-54, on Sunday afternoon in Littlejohn Coliseum.
Junior guard/forward Rusne Augustinaite (17 points), senior forward Raven Thompson (12 points), and senior guard Mia Moore (11 points, five assists) all finished in double figures for the Tigers. Moore and senior guard/forward Hadley Periman tied for the team lead with eight rebounds each.
The Cardinals were led by Laura Ziegler’s 17 points, who was joined by Taijan Roberts (12 points) and Reyna Scott (10 points).
HOW THE GAME WAS DECIDED
With under four minutes to play in the third quarter, back-to-back layups from graduate forward Demeara Hinds and senior forward Raven Thompson pulled the Tigers within four points of the Cardinals. Louisville responded by outscoring Clemson 12-5 in the final three minutes of action. Six of the Cardinals’ 14 makes at the free-throw line came within that stretch.
