Clemson Falls To Alabama in ACC/SEC Challenge, 72-48

Tuscaloosa, Ala., Dec. 4, 2025 – Clemson women’s basketball (5-4, 0-1 ACC) fell to Alabama (9-0, SEC), 72-48 in the third rendition of the ACC/SEC Challenge at Coleman Coliseum on Thursday night.

Hannah Kohn (10 points) led the Tigers and collected her second double-digit scoring game of the season.

Jessica Timmons (19 points) and Essence Cody (21 points) led the Crimson Tide.

HOW THE GAME WAS DECIDED

The Crimson Tide scored 16 unanswered points midway through the third quarter to take a commanding 24-point lead over the Tigers. Clemson was unable to catch up for the remainder of the game.

  • Clemson is 0-3 all-time in the ACC-SEC Challenge.
  • Alabama extended its all-time record against Clemson to 7-2.
  • Mia Moore (five rebounds) surpassed the 500-career rebounds milestone and has a total of 502 in her career.
  • Hannah Kohn (three 3PM) logged her second game of the season in double-figures and her second straight game of three-plus 3-pointers.
  • Amaia Jackson collected a career-best six points.
  • Holland Harris grabbed a career-best five boards.
