ACC Releases Preseason Coaches Poll and All-ACC Team

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference released its preseason coaches poll and All-ACC team Tuesday afternoon, ranking Clemson as a top-five team in the league and placing two Tigers on the preseason All-ACC. The Tigers sit fifth in the ACC while Natalie Shurtleff (midfielder) and Kayla Macleod (at-large) earn a spot on the preseason squad.

SHURTLEFF’S FILE

  • Clemson’s all-time points leader with 99.
  • Ranks second in career assists (41).
  • Holds the second-most assists in a season (21 in 2025) and is tied for third (20 in 2024).
  • Tied for fourth on Clemson’s career goals list alongside Regan Byrne and is just two goals shy of entering the top three.
  • Tied with Macleod for sixth-most points in a season (57 in 2025) and ranks 10th (42 in 2024).
  • Eighth-most goals in a season with 36 (2025).
  • Shares the program record for most assists in a game (four on April 5, 2025, vs. Virginia Tech).
  • Sixth in career ground balls (46).
  • Fifth in career draw controls (69) and 10th in single season draw controls (35 in 2025).
  • Seventh in career turnovers (23).
  • Tied for second in career game-winning goals (three), including two last seasons.
