CLEMSON, S.C. – No. 16 Clemson (3-2) defeated Charlotte (4-1) 5-2 at the Duckworth Family Tennis Facility on Sunday afternoon.
Clemson struck first in doubles play. The team of Viktor Markov and Henrik Bladelius (CU) knocked off Vasco Prata and Ivan Dreycopp (CLT), 7-5. Noa Vukadin and Manuel Plunger (CU) continued the streak, defeating Emilio Sanchez and Massimo Pizzigoni (CLT), 7-5 to clinch the doubles point for Clemson.
In singles competition, Edoardo Chérié Lignière claimed the first match, defeating Pizzigoni, 6-0, 6-2. Bladelius won the second match against Sanchez, 7-5, 6-4. Charlotte added a point against the Tigers as Muenster defeated Nittman 6-3, 6-4.
Clemson continued to dominate the match with Farzam clinching the dual match with a win against Medus, 6-3, 6-3. Markov also claimed a victory during a playout match, defeating Dreycopp 7-5, 7-5.

Clemson will travel to Dallas, Texas to compete at the ITA National Team Indoors Championships. The matches will begin on Friday, Feb. 13 and will run through Tuesday, Feb. 17. Draws will be released this upcoming week.
