Clemson’s women and men are both ranked in the USTFCCCA poll that released on Tuesday. The women shot from No. 16 in the preseason poll all the way up to No. 4, while the previously unranked men climbed into the No. 21 ranked spot.

ACC WEEKLY AWARDS (Jan. 27)

  • Shantae Foreman and Cherop each earned ACC weekly honors for their performances at the Orange & Purple.
  • Foreman earned ACC Women’s Field Performer of the Week after posting a record-breaking 14.17m / 46′ – 06.00″. The mark not only reset Clemson’s school record but it also ranks first nationally, 14thin all-time NCAA history and is second all-time in ACC history. This was Foreman’s second ACC Women’s Field Performer of the Week this season with the previous occurring on Jan. 13.
  • Cherop took home the ACC Women’s Rookie Performer of the Week after placing fourth in the women’s mile invite with a time of 4:32.92 in her first-ever race on an indoor track. This put her third on Clemson’s all-time top 10 list and currently ranks ninth nationally.
