CLEMSON, S.C. – Thirty-one Clemson student-athletes were selected to the Academic All-ACC Rowing Team as announced by the league office on Friday afternoon.
Senior coxswain Kristen Dutkin and juniors Camille Egger and Jane Upmeyer were each named to the team for a team-high third time. Graduate Elizabeth Timberlake, juniors Amelia Scherer, Rose Imbesi and Hannah Newman and sophomores Nina Fernandez, Avery Goldknopf, Kiley McKernan, Kate Miller and Elizabeth Mueller were all selected for the second time in their collegiate careers. Nineteen Clemson rowers made their first appearance on the Academic All-ACC Rowing Team.
In addition to their Academic All-ACC accolades, junior Georgie Ericsson and sophomore Mueller were also selected to the All-ACC Third Team and All-ACC Second Team, respectively, after the ACC Rowing Championships.
All-ACC Academic teams are composed of students with considerable academic and athletic achievements. To be eligible for this honor, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average throughout the duration of their academic career. Additionally, these student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests throughout the duration of the season.
