The Tigers (12-8, 4-4 in the ACC) have won four of their last five matches, including a 3-1 match over Virginia on Saturday. Clemson’s win over the Cavaliers evened the Tigers’ ACC record at 4-4.
Lori Ashton has played well for the Tigers, the last two weeks in particular. She enjoys a team-leading .340 hitting percentage and is second on the squad with 277 kills. Ashton set a season-high with 24 in the win over Virginia. Ashton also leads the Tigers with 86 total blocks, averaging 1.18 per game.
Leslie Finn had 23 kills and hit .415 in the match versus Virginia on Saturday. She leads Clemson and the ACC with 5.25 kills per game. Her 378 kills this season gives her 1,600 for her career, fifth-most in school history.
Wofford (6-14, 2-5 in Southern Conference) comes into Tuesday’s match having lost eight out of its last 10 matches. The Terriers feature a strong offensive leader in Andrea Duke, who leads the team with 319 kills and a 4.04 per game average. Duke also leads Wofford with 246 digs this season.
