The Clemson women’s swimming and diving team was proud to have three former Clemson women Tigers honored as members of the ACC’s 50th Anniversary team during the Women’s ACC Championships at UNC Chapel Hill. Former greats Ruth Grodsky, Pam Hayden and Jennifer Mihalik attended the ceremony. Tiger honorees who could not attend were Jan Kemmerling, Mitzi Kremer, Michelle Richardson and Paulette Russell.
“To have these swimmers back on the pool deck motivated our women’s team. They are our mentors, role models, and inspiration,” said swimming and diving head coach Christopher Ip. “Success breeds success. To have Jennifer leading the women’s team in the Clemson cadence count cheer and Pam and Ruth encouraging our swimmers on deck brought the Tiger pride out in all of us.”
