CLEMSON, S.C. — The Clemson track and field program had 29 athletes earn spots on the Outdoor Track and Field All-ACC Academic Team. The Tigers had 11 men and 18 women qualify for the honor.
The 10 men were: D’Andre Anderson, Ethan Cocco, Mason Corbin, Dashinelle Dyer, Samuel Garringer, Ryan-Matthew John, Gabriel Ludwick, Alex Teufel, Nate Verska, Cardan Williams and Jevon Williams.
The 17 women were: Nia Christie, Sofia De Coteau, Madelyn Dinneen, Leah Disher, Shantae Foreman, Grace Hanratty, Caroline Johnston, Izzy Kapoor, Izzy Klett, Ockera Myrie, Mackenzie Osher, Kassandra Roemer, Madison Roush, Danielle Sloley, Makenzie Steele, Brynne Sumner, Antoinette Van der Merwe and Courtney Williams.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Indoor Track and Field Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships and/or the NCAA Indoor Championships during the most recent season.
Of the 29 Tigers who made the team, D’Andre Anderson and Ethan Cocco were the two that participated at the 2023 Outdoor National Championship Meet. Anderson contributed to the ACC record-setting 4×400 meter relay team while Cocco finished 21st in the nation in the javelin throw.
